We've had lots of baseball games and practices, and Jason is the pitcher, so it's been fun to watch Bowden get some hits off his dad.
Jason was weedeating a couple of weeks ago and this nasty little creature crawled out from somewhere. Jason cut it's head off and the boys both held it. I, on the other hand, took pictures from inside. Had I gone outside, I know I would have been chased and then someone would have gotten hurt.(:
This picture makes me smile because it looks like Pierce is admiring his big brother for holding the snake.
Fun at the park
Bowden was in children's choir at church this year and had a performance to end the school year. The theme was God's Zoo, so they all dressed up like animals. As you can see here, we had a very tired puppy on our hands.
After it was all said and done, Bowden seemed pretty excited, so I asked him if he wanted to do children's choir next year. He said, "Nahhh." To which, I asked why not and he said, "because all we do is sing!" Ha, ha! Jason was so proud!(:
Bowden had field day at school a couple of weeks ago. I felt sorry for his little partner in this race. He kept trying to go faster and she wasn't on the same page. They must have fallen 10 times. It was pretty funny!

Gigi came for a visit. Nana and Papa did, too. We just didn't get any pictures.

Bowden was also in Awana's this year. The awards ceremony was last night where they were recognized for their efforts. We are so proud of how hard he worked to learn all his verses.
